As you read within this months “By The Numbers” only forty-five percent (45%) of all Defined Contribution participants have secured and/or established their preferences for their account at Empower. Simply put, that’s a horrible percentage rate.
Honestly, there is no reason why that figure is not already encroaching 100%. We are, after all, Local 697 and we don’t do half-assed!
Just to be clear, you’re not doing this for us. You are doing this for your future self and for your family. If that is not reason enough for you to get it in gear, then we had you pegged as a totally different person.
Moreover, it’s an easy thing to accomplish. Seriously. You are going to be kicking yourself for not setting yourself up earlier after seeing how simple it is to do.
So, are you ready to finally “get er’ done?” Great.

They all contained that information and more! You could also go to the “DC Plan” tab on the Funds website and click the words “Empower login.”
Then again, you could also attend next month’s Benefit Funds educational seminar, and we can show you how to do this. But are you really going to wait another month to complete such a simple thing? Really? Oh well. Don’t forget, you need to reserve your spot for that seminar.
